Power steering reservoir cap ?

Well, it happened. My cap fell off. After a few weeks of ownership. Thankfully didn't burn my car down. Can't seem to find the dorman 82585 anywhere. Several on ebay but not in stock when I try to order them. Any suggestion?

You can make your own out of pretty common materials. I had some old steel braded hose that I hose clamped to the top and routed down and away from the burn my car down bits. Just noticed you were asking about the cap. Puting an overflow hose on your cap will lock you new one in place when you find it.

Mid-'90s Jeep Grand Cherokee used the same reservoir & cap.

All I do is Hand Tighten really good. Never had a problem with it loosening up.

I replaced mine with that. I can send you the old red necked one.

Broken cap with a thermostat in it as a plug.
