Price to install heads?

[Finally got it !]

Subject says it all.
I am thinking about putting heads on my car. Before I go with the Roe S/C. reduce C/R, run more boost etc. Any ideas on the install price?

The labor was fairly reasonable. The part that gave me sticker shock was the cost of head gaskets. I ended up paying $1,500 for the install and $500 of it was just gaskets.

I have some head gaskets, that will probably be for sale soon if someone is interested. Also some exhaust manifold gaskets and a thermostat housing gasket.

I think $1500 for heads only is to high. That should easily cover a heads/cam install. But, I see you are also doing pistons.....still, if you are not doing a cam it's not a bad job.

I never bothered to check around because I didn't think it would be so high.
