Programming Entry Remotes with a DRB-III

I just found out that an old friend has a DRB-III Scanning Tool, I can borrow it but he's not sure he knows the procedure for programming remotes.

Has anyone here ever used one and know the procedure?

I'm familiar with the "ground the green wire" method but I want to also program the horn beeps, etc. which only the DRB can do.
