question about keys

Does a 99 RT/10 have transponder keys? Can I just make keys at a locksmith...? (Where can I get the key blank?)

How many clickers can the car accomodate?

I can not answer all those questions but I can answer some. Here it goes:

Where to get extra keys?

You can go to your local dealership and buy it from them or you can go on eBay. I would suggest eBay first since they are A LOT CHEEPER there. Just type in "VIPER KEY" in the search and you will get a few available.

Can Locksmiths make the keys?

I believe they can. It would not be a problem.

Chris -- They are not transponder keys, eBay is a good source, and you might check with your local Dodge dealer to see if he will "cut" the eBay key blank for you (mine did for no charge and he doesn't sell or service Vipers). Not sure about the "clickers." I hope this helps.
