I did the dealer's paperwork on my 2008 Viper today and the one thing I did not decide on was the extended care warranty option. Two options were presented: 1) The Chrysler 7/70 Maxcare warranty (which I also had on my 2006 Viper) as well as 2) the JM&A (run by Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc) option which offers slightly better coverage and more flexibility in terms of which dealers can do the warranty work on the car (any ASC (sp??) certified technician as opposed to a Chrysler dealer techs only under the Chrysler Maxcare program). Has anyone lived with the JM&A option or know the nuances of these options who can weigh in on the pros and cons? My inclination at this point is to go with the Chrysler Maxcare. Also, my preference is to buy the extended warranty from my local dealer but does anyone out there know of the best deals on these types of warranties? Thanks for any help or info you can provide.

We are the largest Dealer in the Nation for MBPI warranties, but we sell only Chrysler contracts for the Viper. I would suggest a 7 year , 50,000 mile contract ( Maxcare Only), as few folks drive 70k in a Snake, and there is no need to pay extra for miles you will never need.

Respectfully,

I better deal to make with dodge is forfeit some mileage for extra years and bill said you not going to put 70k on the car.
and if you sell it down the road a longer term contract will be more appealing.
congrats on getting the new ride:2tu:

Maybe, but I'll hit 70K prior to 7 years. I am at 2 years (seasons) and 27,300 miles.....
