Question: Will the key fob still work after going through the washer?

Yes, at least once. I left it in my pants when I threw them in the washing machine last night. Seems to be working fine today.

Yup!!! did it on my 06 coupe last week, snapped cover off and blew dry with air commpressor and worked like a charm. Key does have a nice shine to it though!!

If you noticed the fob has a rubber seal around the edge. They are designed to be somewhat waterproof.
