Re-installing lower dash panel

I recently was in my dash installing a new TPMS module and when putting the lower dash panel back in, I could not get the lower dash panel and the center console panels to line up correctly. I fiddled with it for a hour or so trying different ways to install it but it usually resulted in the plastic tab pushing on the center console piece and making it not a flush fit. I can get all of the clips in but this just bothered me.

So far the best way I have managed to install is sliding the left side of the dash panel into its groove then clicking clips in from left to right. Any ideas would be appreciated!
