Just bought a GTS for the race track and I've been looking for a list of the recalls that the 96 GTS should have had done. The previous owner didn't do them.

Just make sure you have it done at a shop that is very familier with Vipers. There have been many nightmares regarding recalls (i.e. MINE)!

Steering Rack Mounts and Differential Mounts.
Recall 998 for 1996-1999 1/2 Vipers.

I only recall a couple - O2 sensors and the 998. Take it to a good dealer and they can tell you what it needs and what has been done.
