Reducing Underhood Temps

engine bay temp. i had the wire loom melt off the starter. is there a wire loom on the stock wire? i was wondering if the previous owner did it to look pretty. I'm thinking of getting the bollanger headers wrapped. Wrap the starter, starter cable and install some heat shielding. Anyone have pics of their attempts of reducing underhood temps on 04 Vipers?

Wow, that's odd. Do you have any mods on the car other than the headers that might cause extra heat (like a supercharger)? I know that area in general can be a pain for a lot of people with aftermarket exhaust, but it's usually more of a routing issue where the wires end up touching the actual pipes due to relocation of stuff.
