Remote Died today

My remote died and I remembered from reading a post here that there was a way to use the key to shut the alarm off, unfortunately I couldn't remember where it was. I was at a hardware store. So I went inside and bought a new battery, while the horn blared away. Then I was sure I had put the battery in the remote right, but it still didn't work (I had put it in backwards ). Finally I relented and pulled out the owners manual and figured out there was keyhole up inside the glove compartment. I'll never forget where it is again

Just to let you know I'm putting a new reciever in my car this week. Mine has been working but I'm not taking any chances while I can still buy the part.

I figure if my receiver ever goes I'll just buy a commercial alarm system to replace it.
