Removable front license plate holder.

After 4 years of driving around the same Policemen at the same time, finally one bright guy has noticed I have no front license plate. He asked me, "Do you know you don't have a front license plate?" To which I replied politely, "Yes I do have one, its in the back"

I used the line about the parts are on order. Since the car is 4 years old he thought that was a pretty long order period. He didn't write me a ticket but suggested that I get it mounted. Since I really don't want to, I've heard some of you mention a temporary one, just so I can use it for a month or so and make the guy happy. I'll then remove it. (Unless of course he also checks this site) At the rate at which I get pulled over it will be another 4 years until this problem comes up again.

Any thoughts would be welcomed.

Use weather stripping on back, some zip ties. Go find him, show him you did it. Then get out the knife!

Just be gentle with the "suction cup" device. Some have been known to take wing at high speed.
