removing quarter panel

I want to remove my passenger side rear quarter. Is it glued at the top seam? I don't want to damage any paint taking it off.. It sounds like it is pretty simple to take off..is it?

I believed it is glued along the top of the 1/4 panel.

yea that is what I was afraid of...i was really hoping that was a gasket, maybe i won't pull that off..

I just looked in my Viper Body Construction book and yes it is glued.

3 or 4 bolts from underneath in wheel well, 2 on the forward edge of the bumper cover. They use some "sticky" stuff with the bolts, but should come of fine. Some GTS's had a zip-tie on the very back for alignment with the rear panel, watch out for that. Oh, don't forget to drill out rivets in door area and around wheel well.
