Is there a thread, or a site with pictures maybe, on how to remove the battery out of a Gen2 viper? I know where it's located, but I've only owned my Viper for about 3 months now, and I don't want to waste time when it comes time to hibernation to fiddle with it. Just a quick how to, like step 1 - 5 kinda thing.

Thanks!

It's REALLY simple.

1. Jack up left-rear corner of car.
2. Remove left-rear tire.
3. remove screws holding cover on battery compartment.
4. remove battery.

Just be careful torquing the screws back in when you're done. Easy to strip out the plastic they bite into.

Being in the great white north, a battery tender probably won't be the best, not to mention, the fact that it's not even my garage, and anyone can unplug it no problem. ;) Taking it out, and having it hooked up to a battery tender at my own house will be a lot better. :p

Thanks for the tips guys; and I'm getting my VCA soon, as soon as the guy from VC of Ontario gets back to me.

I replaced the battery on my 02 ACR today. It's an easy job. I spent more time cleaning the inside of my rear wheel, wheel well and battery compartment then it took me to replace the battery.

Yep, it will just "work". The GTS can be entered without power by popping the hatch, reaching through to either front door, and pulling the emergency door release handle. Will not help you if you have a RT/10.
