I was thinking of removing the spare tire and jack to save a few pounds,(and going on a diet).I just put brand new rubber on, and thought of adding a can of fix a flat. I thought I saw sometime ago, a post that the insurance companys might void a clam if I was ever in a rearend crash. Has anybody heard the same thing?

Thank you for you're support(again)

Space saver spare does not weigh that much, and is mounted low in the car.
Car was designed with tire in place for additional crash protection.
Flat sealer goopes up inside of tire, and may prevent it from being repaired as tire tech's hate it.
Small weight gain for the offsetting potential problems.
Wait for Chapter III's run flats. I expect lots of customers will wish they had the option of a space saver spare.
