Can't remember when I bot it but guessing 15-20 years ago.
I believe it was supposed to be mounted as the discharge from brake ducting however, it could be mounted as the inlet but where?
Doesn't seem to be any room on the knuckle AND can't find any bolts nearby that would make sense
I think I paid $30-ish. Probably not a "hot setup" anymore - are they worth anything?

Fog lights is my guess as that is where track guys do it.

And they are worth less than a dipstick tube.
Fog lights would be a candidate, however the fogs are mounted with 3 screws which is what you'd also use on your duct part. The single mounting tab looks like it would eventually fail from high cycle fatigue where the tab meets the gusset since it supports a massive cantilever. (The gusset should have extended to the end of the tab - in fact some C-channel form would be better.) The duct hose would provide some damping, but I wouldn't count on it. Also, the tube is smaller than the fog opening - you'd want that sealed - so it for fog location, it wouldn't look like a simple tube (actually a tube with a flange would be perfect and EZ. I'm going with "Not the fogs, Alex."

I like the dipstick dig. It's interesting that nothing but crickets when I explained why the dipsticks were being blown out at the track.
