I'm getting ready to install my DLM Level II system and was wondering what is the proper ring gap for use in this application? I've heard values ranging from 0.020" to 0.030" for the top ring and 0.024" to 0.035" for the second ring. Thats quite a spread and I was hoping to narrow it down a bit without risking "butting" the rings.

Thanks,
Jim

What type of rings are you running?
How far down the piston is the top ring?
Is it a stock piston or are there additional oil holes?

I have Speed Pro Hellfire rings and Ross pistons with oil holes. The top ring is about 0.25" below the top ring. The pistons are milled for lower compression.
