Is Rod Stewart a VCA member???

A gardener was so enraged at being sacked by Rod Stewart that he stole his £40,000 car and crashed it - right under the nose of a policeman.

The Sun says after Donald Smith was sacked for being lazy, he stole the keys to Rod's yellow Dodge Viper and crashed it a few miles away from his Palm Beach home.

A motorcycle policeman watched Smith back the car out of the 10 million pound mansion, but did nothing to stop him.

Smith was later arrested in a motel nearby, and charged with grand theft auto and causing damage to the car, estimated at £300.

A Florida police spokesperson said the officer had no reason to believe the car was being stolen.

I saw the latest 'Cribs' on MTV and they were showing the house of his daughter (she lives on his property). She walked over to the garage and showed off some of his cars, a red Murcielago and silver 550 Barchetta.

One of Rod's houses was on the cover of a recent Architectal Digest, with Rod sitting in a chair in his study. I guess it shows how good of taste he has...by owning a Viper.
