RPS or Fidanza aluminum flywheel?

The clutch needs to be replaced soon in my 96 GTS and I'm considering an aluminum flywheel. The new clutch will be an OEM replacement.

How do the RPS and Fidanza aluminum flywheels compare? Pluses and minuses of each? Weight? Any other companies?

I have been using Fidanza in my other vehicles for years. No complaints!

I just replaced my clutch with a stock one, and put in a Fidanza. It's been a couple months now, and I couldn't be happier. The difference is truly amazing. I highly recommend it.

I have no knowledge/experience with RPS, sorry.

Another Fidanza... I've seen lots of high HP Vipers with the Fidanza too, so I think it's a safe and proven way to go.

no idea about RPS but I JUST got my car back from Chuck after the Fidanza flywheel and I LOVE it.

I just got the RPS about a month ago, no idle differences, maybe you need to watch stalling a little (I don't think about it but have had lightweight flywheels in other cars), and the gain is noticeable IMO. I think you can't lose either way.

Love my Fidanza!

Nice thing too is that if the contact area gets warped from heat/use/abuse, it's replaceable. Not sure about RPS.
