Server upgrade complete, move to commence!

The Server upgrade was completed last night, both CPU's are in and running fine as is all the additional memory. The only casualty was the Events calendar....will need to wait 'till Monday to fix that as the companies Techs are off for the weekend

If you want to get a feel for how fast it is, drop into the New Classifieds

As Tony explained before, he'll be closing down and moving a forums one at a time, then sticking in a redirect to the new forums location...... and then moving the final "General Viper Discussion" forum.

Initially, all forums except the "General Viper Discussion" will be open, once moved, The "GVD" forum will be turned on as well.

So, to summarize:

1) Forums will be closed one at a time, and moved.
2) All forums except GVD will be turned on in their new location.
3) Redirect will be put in place.
4) General Viper Discussion (GVD) forum will be closed.
5) GVD will be moved and turned on.


Remember, you will need to reset your cookies when we move to the new server.

First, it means the forums should be faster

You must be registered for see images

Second, it means that after the forums move to their new home, you will need to follow the procedure to set your cookie. If you don't, you will need to type in your username and password every time you post. You will also not be able to log into CHAT or get you instant messages until your cookie is set.
