Just finished repairing side sills. Remove from car and remove the heat shields from the interior of the side sill. Paint inside with 1500 degree paint then the outside with 1200 degree paint in the correct color. When replacing the heat shields place the inside piece and the outside piece back in proper position and then lay another piece over the seem created at the top to keep heat from leaking through the seem. The 1500 degree paint only comes in black but you will never see it so it doesn't matter. Good luck. John at the Parts Rack is who helped me figure this out.
