I have done some research on the forum regarding Teamtech, Simpson and other 5/6 point belts. Looks like Teamtech is a good choise. My car being more of a serious pleasure driver and a weekend cruiser than a race car, I may be more comfortable in Simpsons. Safetyvise they should be reasonably similar, except Teamtech may have a slight edge.

If I order the red Camlock Simpson's, what lenght I need? There seems to be also 5 and 6 points available, which one?

Like said, I drive the car seriously and want to do this year some safety improvents, I am no longer comfortable with the standard belts.

Lari,
get your A$$ down here to Carlisle. Since it is a pleasure vehicle you need to pick up your deflectors & i have a set of Schroth i took out of the Green Car. They were used 3x's in 2 years.

I like Simpson. I don't think there is a length option. I think the option is you can get a bolt in type or a clip in type.

With a stock seat, definately the 6 Pts. so you will not submarine when breaking. I even prefer the 6 Pts, when I have the race seat installed. But, the 5 Pts are much easier to live with.

The Schroth's would not happen to be same green as the racecar??? :D

You're only 1 hour away from Lancaster, I'll drive over... I know I'll take your deflectors anyway!

I am the same type of driver...

Had the 5 point Simpson's in my first Viper --- now have the 6 point Teamtechs in current car.

Without a doubt, I really like the 6 points much better. I use them everytime I drive.

If you aren't going to use them often, the harness part that has the buckle will be in your way. Otherwise, go with the TeamTechs!!!

One of the reasons I am not (most likely) going with the Teamtech is the neck rubbing issue. I have read multiple posts that indicate the belts are rubbing the neck area....

This WILL be an issue, since I take often 4-12 hour drives. I need something "reasonably" comfortable, but at the same time more protection than the 3 points.

The belts are black i believe. only 1 set. if your interior is black should match just fine.
