Hello;
I am in the process of cutting out ( from stainless steel ) new skid plate. Friend of mine is doing it for me. There are two cut outs on the plate. One has a scoop on it , which I think is used for cooling the diff., while the other is for the exhaust cross over.
My question is are these cut outs necessary? Is there any cooling that they provide. Or can I eliminate them totally.
