Snakeoyl/K&N or green for 2008?

Anybody swap for this filter and tube setup? Any thoughts pro, con, or otherwise.

There seems to be a 08 air intake post every day now....SRT has stated that the tubes may throw a code.. apparantly the inflow is as good as it gets.. the K&N may offer the ease of a reusable filter but as far as HP gains go nothing has been proven yet

Anyone actually get a code from 2 simple rubber tubes 10 inches long?? I find that very hard to believe.

The changes in the smooth tubes will more than likely throw a CEL from values that are out of spec. This comes straight from the SRT group.

I think I will...more for the nondisposable filter aspect, than anything else. It seems nobody has actually experienced a CEL/Code from what I have read. It stands to reason that the variance between stock and smooth tubes would be too small to create a problem. I think the tech that made the statement was being to technically minded and not using common sense.
