Special Warranty Questions.....

Hey all,
I have recently heard news about some kind of non-factory warranty for specialty vehicles. This warranty is honored by anyone who is ASE certified, so you don't have to take it to a dealer. It also does not matter if your car isn't stock. They will still honor the warranty. I saw this on a Hennessey (<---enter favorite hate word) 650 that was for sale on ebay a while back....

Has anyone heard about this, and where you can get them, or am I just crazy?

There is a product called Bankers Direct, and yes, all ASC and even ALL dealerships will generally take this (that is unless they want to be difficult). The problem is that there a re a few vehicles that are excluded:

Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4, Stealth, Viper, Renault, Pugot, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Sterling, Lancia, Alfa Romero, Cadillac 4100 Engine, Lotus.

The plan is an extended service contract offered by Heritage Warranty Mutual Insurance, Inc.
