Paxton just released the SRT 10 Viper kit and we are very impressed with the product and the performance results. The airbox design is really well thought out. This was a completely stock SRT with no modifications. Hp and torque increases were in the 40% range! Here are the numbers:

STOCK 434RWHP 466RWTRQ

PAXTON 609RWHP 567RWTRQ

The car is a thrill to drive, drivability is just like a stocker but it pulls
really ******* the top end. Dollar for dollar this is the best increase in power for the street. Plus, it is emissions legal!

The system went on well, expect it to take 17-20hrs. We had 2 techs on this job
so it went a little faster. All in all, we were quite impressed with the kit.
I will post more results soon as we will be doing two more cars starting next week.

No, this vehicle has the supplied fuel system from Paxton
and worked well on a completely stock engine.

We will be doing some vehicles with exhaust upgrades and will keep everyone informed about how this will change the fuel requirements.

Thanks

Hi Dan,

The obvious next question. What's it cost?

And of course there are more questions. Like:
Stock pistons
Stock rods (year dependent)
Crankshaft damper (again year dependent)

Very interested to hear the differences between the 2 systems as well.

Dan , you are the man. Plenty of folks out there respect your reputation, and I know there has been a ton of R&D on this to meet your exacting demands. Saw the system on Joel's car ( only Viper in Ireland ) at VOI and it looked very sanitary. Keep us posted and congrats.

Dan -

That is awesome! I wish I had me an SRT to supercharge!

So the million $$$ question is... if the kit is bone stock and you got 609 out of it, and DLM got 720 out of it, what is the difference in the kits? Or is one more of a kit than the other?

600 is nothing to scoff at... this is sweet!

Dan's install was pure stock, the car and the kit.

Doug's install was "Dougified" ;) I'm also thinking Doug's car did not start as a Paxton kit, it was a Doug Levin custom install from the start.

As Dan mentioned, he'll be "Danifying" one soon.

One thing mentioned to me was that the Gen III stock fuel system is much better than those on out Gen I/II cars allowing for a better starting point.

Here is a picture I took of the kit at VOI:

Thanks everyone for your interest,

The kit we installed was the production type with no modifications. Doug's system was built by him and is not a production Paxton kit. That system is special and unique to Doug.

In the past, the highest output we could achieve on these GEN 3 engines (normally aspirated), stock displacement with good tailpipe emissions was about 540rwp. The problem seemed to be the intake manifold design. With this new Paxton system, we have beat that by about 60rwhp and remain emissions compliant.

Pricing, to be fair to the other installers, please call me for a quote. Our prices are very competitive and the quality of our work stands for itself. If you have us install a kit or buy one from us, we will give you all the product support you may require. Good product, fair pricing and quality work
is what we pride ourselves on.

Jerry, we look forward to doing the first Quad Cab automatic supercharged SRT truck for you!

Bill Pemberton, thanks for your support! For those of you who do not know Bill.
He is the head Viper Salesman for Woodhouse Dodge. If anyone is interested in buying a Viper he is the man to call. I am sure there is a fairer car salesman out there, I just have not found him yet. I have refered many customers to him
over the years and have never heard anything but praise. My Parents flew from LA to Nebraska just to buy a caravan from him, that says a lot.

I love this super charger stuff and am planning on it. There are two points for me:

One is that it has to CARB approved.
Second is that it needs to work well with a completely stock srt-10. If people are taking the kit and modifying the kit, it doesn't do people like me much good who don't live near the modifier/installer.
