Auto body supply shops sell products for painting--or redying plastic panels. You can buy it in spray cans. I think the brand I have is SEM. I seem to remember that you have to first clean them really, really well..then spray a "prep" product on..then the paint itself. You may even want to try a different color.

My seat backs were flaking. Bought two cans of "Bulldog Plastic Bumper Stripper" in a yellow spray can at my local auto body supply store. Took the seats out of the car. Took the backs off the seats. Got a few rolls of paper towels - you'll need them. Then sprayed small areas of the seat backs like maybe a foot by a foot and then let it sit for a few minutes. Then got tootbrushes to work it in. Then used paper towels to wipe off. It took me two full evenings, but all of the paint came off. DO NOT USE A SCRAPER OF ANY TYPE OF BRASS BRUSH - you will discolor the plastic scrubbing with it. After I stripped the backs, I thoroughly washed them with hot soapy water and then used Armor All (several generous coats) and they look great or better without the paint. I honestly do not know why the factory sparyed them to begin with. As I said it was time consuming and wasted ALOT of paper towels but it looks better than new...and best of all I DID IT MYSELF!
