Ok! I'm new here! Could you please tell me what a Stutter Box is?

Scott

I believe it helps you achieve more consistent lunches in drag racing. You set it to a specific rpm (say 5000) and, once activated, will not allow the motor to rev higher than 5000 rpm even though you floor the accelerator. This way you always launch at 5000 rpm, instead of sometimes at 4800 or 5200, etc. Your foot is never so steady that it'll hold the exact rpm. Especially if you stage first and your opponent is slow in staging. Plus, there's always the adrenaline rush. :headbang:

The clutch switch will disengage the rev limiter so once you drop the clutch, you can run to the normal rev limit. The AEM does have a two step rev limiter.
