tirerack was pretty cheap on the rear v700. then, I went with kuhmo ecsta 712 for the front....a regular front tire. The 275/40/17 was $112 from summit and only $15 shipping. Jegs has a similar price.

Gerald

Thanks to Gerald...I had the chance to drive his GTS from Miami to Bradenton. I can say without reserve! That kumos on drive pavement = "dead hook" (no traction issues) from 2nd gear on!!!!! Get them!!!

Sick car!

Thanks again Gerald.

Has anyone tried Ecsta MX on the front with the V700s on the back? Will this help with the rocks from throwing on the front?? They do make the MX in the correct size in front. I kind of want to keep all 4 tires the same...AL...

I have Kumho sticky all the way around. They don't cost much but they probably wont last long.
They do stick.

If you ever drive in rain, you might find that they don't do as well as a tire with tread that lets water out.

I would think that they could hydroplane at highway speeds in heavy rain.
The tread pattern on mine looks like it wouldn't let any water out.
