Suspension Diff Gen2 to Gen3????????

Hey Everybody,

Will an aftermaket suspension kit. Like "KW" or "Motons" Gen 3 kit work on a Gen 2??????? Would like to pick up somthing used, but it seems like Gen 3 stuff pops up more in the classifieds. Any advice would be great.

Inquiries I have made in the past indicate that the answer to this question is NO.

If anyone had a set of both Gen 3 and Gen 2 sbocks, it would be nice to see fronts and rears side by side.

I have also read that the rear forks are not the same.

they are different but moton has a shock now availiable according to jorgensen.

The new MCS shock will be produced for the Gen2 just as it was for the Gen3/4. The only difference will be that the Gen2 rear fork has to be replaced so there will be a bit more cost involved for a small run of this custom part. Other then that the shocks from them will be physically the same. LMK if you have any questions.
