Talk me out of buying....

..another Viper. I know this is the wrong place to go with this request, but I thought I would try. I have had 4 Vipers. I now have an 06 coupe, and I just bought a CTS-V daily driver .

I keep justifying it--"this may be the last yr of the Viper", "need a vert to go with the coupe" , "want the latest version,"etc. I tend to ignor things like shrinking economies, A couple of more college educations to pay for etc etc.

Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, I have a wife who could care less what I buy and tends to look the other way.

I need an intervention. This is truly additive behavior.

Why are you listed just as an enthusiast then instead of being an owner or better yet a member?

Although my 08 Vert is an absolute JOY to drive top down, I would have to tell you 'DONT DO IT'!!!
You'll probably regret it when they're gone for good but still 'DONT DO IT'!!!

I know the addiction. I have 3 Vipers and 2 SRT-10 Trucks. Yea, that's 50 cylinders in the garage! and a butt load of cords and battery maintainers...

Chrissss--fair question. I let my membership in VCA lapse. I just talked to Lee (Va/Md) about reupping and will. Terry

Chuck-- that blue hair car has more HP than my 06 Viper and roughly the same 0-60. And, a lot more comfortable for an old man like me.

I look at things this way..........life is short and you only have one shot at it, so you may as well enjoy it while you are here. The older I get, the faster time flies by.
