I am installing a new B+B cat back exhaust on a stock 99ACR.What are the best high flow cats for this? Dont want it crazy load in the cabin. My wife will hate me.However i do want it to sound nice.
Also, Jon B at partsrack.com has Random Tech high-flow cats in 2.5" and 3" and the adapters.
I have the 3". At first, I had them welded to the optional 2.5" S.S. adapters you get from Jon B. The adapters were then welded to the stock elbows, connected to stock tube headers.
Now, I have B&B headers, just cut off the adapters, and welded the new 3" B&B elbows directly to the RT high flow cats.
roe oval cats are great and under $300. if you gonna go Super Charged go woith the random tec metal cats. my roe oval cats are spitting out stuff with the SC. they were excellent before going SC. who is doing the install chuck tator? you're prob about 30 mins away from him.
D I wont be supercharging, I think this will be it for the mods except my brakes (although I am tired of loosing to you) .A buddy is telling me that Borla makes a great hi-flo anybody have that on?
I've got 3" Random Techs w/ B&B 3" catback. My wife was VERY concerned it would be too loud. Sounds awesome, she likes it too. Way better than stock and wicked burble on decel. Love it.
