Last year was slated to be Nancy Friends last year as cruise director (however she was kind enough to lead the spring cruise and lay a foundation for our next ones). After many years of service she's retiring and we are getting the news out to anyone interested in case you'd like to step into the role. You would also become a member of our IL VCA board and participate in decision making for the club.
This is a good year as it'll be a transition year, you'll be shown the ropes slowly and it'll make it easy to pick up. We've also toyed with the idea of a cruise committee. So if you don't think you want to pursue a sole role, let us know if you'd be interested in being part of a committee who share the responsibility.
