Last Wednesday my 2002 GTS was delivered from Woodhouse. It came with 5400 miles, it now has 6040. Here is what I think after a week.

1) Woodhouse is great. Bill told me the car was a 9.1 on a scale of 9.5, he was right. Woodhouse made it easy to get the car (and spend the money on it, which surprisingly wasn't easy elsewhere). When I decide to get a SRT-10 I know where I will buy it. Bill, you are ambassador of quan. Thank you so very much.

2) Thanks to Ron and Bryon for looking at many a viper w/ me. I can't say how much I appreciate the time spent.

3) I bought a new 2002 z06 about 1 1 /2 years ago. I wanted a viper, but I didn't buy one. My mistake, lesson learned. Get what you want.

4) I'm about 6'5 and 230. I fit in the viper BETTER than in my z06. This is not a lie. If you are a big/bigger guy like me, don't be discouraged, you should fit fine. I also think the car is pretty comfortable.

5) I love the car, my girlfriend loves the car, my friends love the car, my family loves this car, what else can I say?

6) :2tu:

I echo your comments. I've had mine a couple of weeks now and still feel like I'm on a cloud. It does have more head room than my C5, now that I've lowered the seat. Still have the C5, but don't drive it much anymore!

I picked up my first Viper February 16th. All i can say is WOW. I get a feeling in the pit of my stomach everytime i even so much as look at the Viper. It has an incredible tough appeal to it, but yet so damn **** :) I just spent about 4 hours detailing it and conditioning the leather and cleaning the engine bay. I love the Viper, the wifey loves the Viper and i get that "That's just what you need" from my mother lol. Congratulations guys, and i hope to see you all at some of this years gatherings. :headbang:

Hey Chuck...... you have me beat on mileage, but I'm up there.

Say..did you ever fix the side of your viper? I remember at Homestead a while back, when you showed up for the Ferrari thing. Your Viper looked like it had just been through world war three...and you needed a power steering line in order to continue?

You were one of the very few Vipers in the event, but I wasn't too proud of your beat-up machine. Peace.

Brian,
The feeling doesn't go away.
Remember opening presents during your birthday when you were nine?
Same feeling every time I walk into the garage and peer under the cover. Shhhhhhh....Don't wake her; just stare at her just one more minute....(She won't mind.) Then go back to the movie I was watching; still dreaming of warm spring evenings on route 18. Traffic is light. Cares are few. Cares are very very few....

Bought my 2002 GTS from Bill as well. Great service. It is quite an event seeing the car for the firdt time as it gets unloaded from the trailor.

Ahhh, Brings back memories when men were men and Snakes didn't have door handles or windows!

Addiction is a tough thing. The feeling never goes away.

...nor does the torque!

LOL Don't be such a queen. Battle scars my man, battle scars, and they're still in place. But I might be doing a little cosmetic surgery on it before the season.

And quit scaring Mr. Gemberling.
