I have a sharp scratch in my clear coat that is about 3/16 long and looks like it was made by dragging a razor blade.
You can feel it with your fingernail and it is "white" because the sides of the scratch "v" are scuffed clear coat.
If you lick your finger and wipe the scratch, it "disappears."
It would seem that the best way to fix this scratch would be to fill it with clear coat and NOT disturb surrounding clear coat with sanding, buffing, etc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
