I just purchased a set of 19" Purners. For the rears, the only choice in Pilots is 345/30s. For the fronts, you can get 275/30s or 285/30s. Everybody I asked said the 295/30s would not work for the front. I went with the 285s, for a slightly taller front tire.

Even with the 285s, there is an overall difference of 1.375" between the two sizes. (Acutal measured height mounted on 10" and 13" rims: 25.875" Front and 27.25" Rear)

BlackVenom,

Who told you 295's would not work?

I have 295's on my car and there are people running 305's and 315's up front.

I was told by several of the dealers who sell the 19" Purners that 295/30s will most likely rub in the front and the overall center of gravity will be higher for the car. I would have prefered them over the 285s, but I did not want to have any problems at high speeds or when driving around corners in a spirited fashion. :)

As a side note, I have 285/60/18 Michelin's on my 2x4 Supercrew and they look great, but when I turn my wheel all the way, they rub. I do not mind the problem on my truck, but the Viper is a different matter altogether.

Long Island,

I got mine from JonB at Partsrack. He had the best price and he is a huge supporter of the VCA.
