Hey everyone. I just got done taking off my bumper and side sills w/side exhaust to get them repainted. Man, was that easy. I thought it would take a few hours, but it only took about 30 minutes of actually doing work! So if anyone out there is comtemplating this task, go for it as I rate it 1 wrench on my difficulty scale to 5.

I will hopefully be getting it put back together on Friday and I will post pictures of my car. By the way, to repaint the bumper which needs sanding, the 2 side skirts, and the new wing I bought from John B at Partsrack from his yellow viper, It will cost me $500. How is that price?

Do not know about the bumper, but yes the sills are easy.

As for the $500, I got a better deal on my stock sills, free.... Nice to have the equipment in the garage. Seriously though, if $500 is for the preping, materials and finish $500 is a fair price.

Yes, dead easy once you have done it. Daunting task the FIRST time...but after that it's almost like filling the tank. :)

$500 is good. I have about a grand into the back of my car. Filled holes where GT2 wing WAS, repaint of the red and black, fixed a little cut in the paint (happened on the way to Tator BBQ last year) behind left rear tire, down LOW....and prep, paint, install a new wing (by he who shall not be named). I got a sneak peek today....you either like, or dislike his wings....mine rocks!! Pics tomoorw (so I have been told!!).

Good job on the work...feels good, huh? :)

Yes, It does feel good. For some reason, I want to poke around and mess with this car more than any of my others. I am mad that I have to drill more holes behind my license plate to mount the bracket for my new wing, but at least I don't have to drill into the metal or anywhere visable. This damn wing better look good!

Which wing? Did I miss something? Mount a bracket?? You should see the holes in MY car for this. You can see the old wing in the background...waiting to be painted B/W for Rick. :)
