It's an old house someone converted into a restaurant and I've used it several times for backdrops for car pictures.

I was in the Air Force stationed at Kadena AB, Okinawa. We had 3 - 4 SR71's based there.

When I got the Viper, my wife said, "you have to put HABU on your license plate."

We had an SR71 fly into MacDill once. Quite a thrill it was for me to work on it. They cleared out an entire hanger for it, closed the doors and surrounded the hanger with security. Quite a thrill it was for me to work on it.

I knew you had to be stationed at Kadena with that license plate!! The Habu is one deadly snake. I think they still have a bounty on Habu's in Okinawa. There was a guy from the base years ago that saw one crossing a road, he ran it over with his car twice! Thought it was dead and the thing bit him when he went to get it. WHOOPS!
