Didn't want to hijack Batmobile's thread.

Got a question, is the tire pressure sensors used in the 08's the same as 03 and up? I purchased PS2's for my 04 and was thinking that if a person had to use puncture sealant for a flat tire it would ruin the sensor cause the sealant passes thru the sensor?

I bought a new sensor and will carry it in the car on road trips to replace a damaged one in case of a flat where the sealant had to be used.

Any experience or thoughts?
Thanks,
Len

Same sensors yes. No, it wont harm the sensors from passing through it. The measuring orifice and fill orifice are independant. If the sealant hardens in the measurement hole, I could see that as a potential problem. If you ever have a flat, just clean it out , or if not possible, just replace the sensor when you repair the tire.
