They are everywhere, but it would be nice to have a Reverse Lookup parts diagram. There should be a ton of them in the bone yards.

Anyone find any easy pickin's?

The screw is left 2 in this pic: It holds the dash trim panel under the column. It uses 4 or 5.
It is a "Flat Top Washer Head" screw and has a "Loose" washer (washer spins and does not come off)
Another thread found a very close equivalent from McMaster except it was a screw + washer, not the loose washer screw.

I need the battery cover screws and I think 1 rear innerliner screw.
The battery screws are tapped so not available at local box store.

The problem with some of those OEM suppliers is that they only sell business to business. Maybe you've already checked all those out, but I know in the past when I was looking for some wire harness retaining clips (the kind that get wrapped into the harness with tape), the only place I could find ones that looked right only sold in quantities of 1000+ kind of numbers. So I guess maybe not strictly business to business, but effectively so with the minimum quantities.

That screw looks very much like the one that holds the wheel well liners to the fenders on my gen 3 as well. My car has a bad habit of spitting them out. I worked with a local Fastenal to find something similar, but it was a separate screw and washer thing like you saw already. I can't understand how the OEM ones are $7 a screw...

Auveco's site has a terrible search filter (if it even has one - I don't remember at this point.) Good filters are at McMaster and Digikey and I'm sure others.

NAPA appears to have the precise fastener with loose washer, its just that the screw head is not a "flat top washer head" which I think is the correct style definition - theirs is a round head that is wider and not as tall as a proper round head.

I know it is stupid unproductive, but Tomb Raiding a junkyard for the proper fasteners is something that would "enjoy" (at 72, I do weird shit)

I think the "Karma" of making a car correct in ways a buyer would never see, manifests in the seller which affects the buyer.

I was going thru a small box of Viper parts and I had evidently ordered 2 of these screws 20 years ago.
That was the good news.
The bad news I still need one.

The panel is held with 5 so a missing screw isn't important to fasten the panel.

Now needing just one, purchasing a new one for $20 is the sensible solution.

....but then, I'm not sensible
