Tunes gen 2 vs gen 3

Will the tunes from a gen 2 work on a gen 3, if both motors are stock? Or are they different?

I would assume not considering gen 2 is 488 cubic inch and Gen 3 is 505 cubic inch. It would probably run, but why would one want to do it?

They are different PCM's, just like the motors are different.

 

[ACPERFORMANCE]

They will not work. There are many differences im the software themselves. In addition some of the pin out locations for certain items are changed throughout the years.
