1. Are there brake upgrades available to give a pre 2001 car the same brake porportionality as a 01 /02?

2. What is a creampuff engine? Is it as sweet as a creampuff or a whimp?

1) Yes there are brake upgrades for pre-ABS cars, though I've never been in a pre-ABS car with better brakes so can't comment on the porportionality. ABS makes a huge difference though.

2) LOL, just a nickname for the 00'+ engines. 00'+ GTS/RT's have cast piston's instead of forged and a slightly different cam profile. Poeple think they are weaker but we know it's a lie :headbang: :D

Check out StopTech brakes. They're one of the best at a reasonable price. Call JonB @ Parts Rack.

The stopping power is about the same 92-02, ABS is the only difference. I believe the proportion valving is the same also. If it's ABS you want then I suggest buying an ABS car. If you want a brake upgrade go with Stoptech or go with steel-braided lines and a pad upgrade.

2000+ run smoother both motor and suspension. Same power just not the roughness that Viper purists love.

yeahand if you ever do NOS or S/C or turbo you should keep it alot smaller boosts then a forged system or of course upgrade.

Chuck is right i noticed (after hearing a cram puff for the first time) my 99 idle's alot rougher but i like that roughness of it

Better brakes, Stronger frame, No NGR, Tighter tolerances in the engine, Stronger tranny (small improvements almost every year - 03/04 tranny's are the strongest of all them), Power mirrors, rear glass release, Factory tubular headers, stronger pistons (we've seen 700+ HP on stock 01/02's pistons), and Still under factory warranty! Why wouldn't you go for a 01 or 02 if you can afford it?

Maybe color choice is the only reason I can think of.
