same old story.... cracked when changing thermostat...

anybody know where to get them???? Tator???

Also... since I am in there.. what thermostat should I run??? and also where to get it and gasket..

Sean Roe had a real good price on t-stat a loooong time ago. 180'. Yes, he also has intake gaskets.

these are standard items. Dodge sells them for ~25 each OR you can get them from Cometic for a little less. Cometic makes head, intake, and exhaust gaskets for the viper. http://www.cometic.com/ . They do both copper and MLS for the head gaskets and they will do a copper up to .094 thickness and an MLS up to .120 thickness.

In regards to Cometic head gaskets; which would be better MLS or copper.
Also, what thickness sould one get for a stock set up?

Stock head gasket is .054 and MLS . If you need a replacement and are NOT trying to reduce compression on the motor, go with that. But if you want to reduce compression, a thicker gasket will work. [I even have a pair of .120 MLS gaskets which i'm not using if you have interest...]

As for Copper vs. MLS: Copper is what you use if you O-ring the block. Most don't use copper as it has a reputation for being harder to seal but I use it all the time. For a stock or mild boost motor, though, MLS is perfect.
