V10 Nationals - Topeka - status of friday night

Just curious if we have the track for practice friday night. Also, I drove through Topeka last week but didnt see any obvious signs of the hotel. Do we drop our cars off at the hotel or at the track? Checked the V10 nationals website for some info but didnt see it. sorry for so many questions.

Track is ours (private rental) for Friday. I would think check into Hotel early, then go out to Friday for runs.

I believe that Friday night is included with your registration price. We will see you there!

How many Vipers are registered for Topeka and is the event Saturday only or does it include Sunday? Good luck to the Florida racers. I have the bug to convert my Comp. Coupe to drag racing and turn the HP up a few notches.

Good question. I'm registered and understand that saturday night will be the big event instead of sunday. additionally, friday night is test and tune I believe.

I believe the way it is currently set up is for "test and tune" on Friday night, beginning at 6:00 PM and going until 10:00 - maybe later (not sure if there are any noise ordinances). Saturday starts at 8:00 AM and the Finals are going off at 9:00 PM. Nothing going on Sunday as I understand it.

As far as number of registered Vipers, not really sure but I think it is lower than normal. That is why one of the local Viper owners is ponying up $2500 out of his own pocket - he, like myself, believes that people will be very impressed with this track and the times they turn there. We are hoping that word-of-mouth makes it a repeat on next year's circuit. We shall see!

David had told me a while back that he may run the drag radial shoot out on Friday night....I haven't heard anymore about that, so I am not sure. It will be nice to make a few passes to see what the track will take. Hopefully it will be prepped like a big event. I was also wondering about fuel and nitrous, can we get fuel at the track ? Is there a place close that we can fill our nitrous bottles ? I used several extra bottles of nitrous at Bowling Green thanks to Larry Macedo...I don't know if he is bringing his refill station or if he is coming at all. I only have 3 10 pound bottles and it won't take long to use it all up. Anyway, I hope the weather is nice and all of us from St.Louis are ready to race...see you guys there.

My understanding is that Friday is Test and Tune....play day and try the track.

I can not speak for Larry Macedo, but I believe he will not bring the Nitrous refill station(he is flying out). Do any of the locals know about Nitrous refills and 100 unleaded avaiviabilty?
