VEC 1 or Vec II

Hi all. I just got a 94 RT/10. I put on smooth tubes and K&n's, Borla mufflers and cats removed. I don't know which Vec to go with though. I don't plan on doing hugh mods, like Turbo's or a S/C. Any input will help, Thanks.

if you are gonna go an SC in the future the ROE SC comes with a VEC2. vec1 will work well for the time being and was able to get about 30rwhp out of it on my genII.

For a naturally asperated engine, the VEC2 might be over-kill. It's a good system, but it's $1000. The VEC1 doesn't give seperate control of fuel and timing, so if you really like to "tweak" your settings you'll want more.

Split second has a fuel/timing map system I'd like to check out. It's not viper specific, so you'll have to know what you're doing when you install it. But it looks like it's about $500.
