Not sure how to determine date of manufacture. Let me know if you know where on the tire to find it. You are welcome to pick up in Las Vegas.

The date code is d9f x 1001. Please keep in mind that these tires have been sealed in plastic and stored inside my house to keep them fresh.

I'm sure these tires will work just fine for most applications, especially being stored as properly as he has. However, one thing to remember is that Michelin, at least when I called them a few years ago, told me they would honor the integrity and warranty for 6 years from the date on the tire. These tires are likely from the fire sale prices of a few years back. Lots of 2001 tires for sale then. I bought 4 sets then .......one pair to go at one set per season
