Well the sun was out in force, May 24th saw the annual MOPAR Day at Brooklands in Surrey. Richard Nobel was also there, they are launching a new Land speed record challenge with a project called 'BloodhoundSSC' The plan is to go over the 1000mph barrier With Pilot Andy Green driving / flying

This is the Hill climb section of track,
If you look in the background you can see the industrial estate.
The gap (left to right) between the trees on the industrial estate was the width of the start finish straight. They incorporated this into the estate when building it
