Thought this was kind of cool...

5 to Drive: Future Classics- Yahoo! Autos Article Page (page 2, last car)

Five Reasons to Buy:
1. Unbelievable performance
2. Outrageous V-10 roar
3. Eats Corvettes for lunch
4. Excellent horsepower-per-dollar ratio
5. Future uncertain

"Like we said, one day the Dodge Viper will be a classic. Right now, it's simply legendary."

I still do not have one but the viper was a classic the day it first came out in my opinion. From what I have read here it was the modern day replacement for the shelby cobra. I would love to have either.

The only one that doesn't really fit on that list is the BMW 335i. BMW 3-series is like the disposable BMW, lol. The Miata, 911, Mustang and Viper have very strong enthusiast followings, and seem to retain their desirability. I can't say the same about older 3-series cars, or the current 335i version. M3 maybe.

Future desirable classics will be the higher HP American cars of today.

SRT-8 Challenger
2010 Camaro
Shelby GT500 Mustangs
Viper
Z06 and ZR1

The rest are just commuting appliances for the sheeple.
