I was out cruising the Columbia Gorge yesterday and decided to take a break at one of the viewpoints. Pull my car into the parkinglot and some of the people start to go wild. Lots of kids.
I ended up parking my car next to a really beautiful Ford Model A car which was attracting quite a crowd. Well...everybody walked away and started admiring the Viper. People asked me to pop the hood to check out the engine etc...
It was fun. Let a couple of kids sit in my car. I sure made their day !

I think its pretty common to have that happen. I've found its good to have some Viper trivia on hand. People love Viper stories and a little information.

I couldn't find the keys to the Suburban when I went to a movie last night so I had to drive the Viper. I sort of hate to leave it in a Parking lot unattended for a few hours.

Of course people just cruised by the red C5 without slowing down to look at the Viper.

Not running the SRT down at all, I think the Gen I and Gen II vipers are going to be even more attractive over the next 10 years since they won't be as common of a sight.

I agree to me the srt doesn`t stand out like the gen 1 an 2 i know i`ll get blasted for that but its my honest opinion. About the popularity thing i`ve only had mine about a week but ever where i go it always draws a crowd. I was really suprised by how much kids love it.

Yes, isn't it cool how people all want to sit in the snake and get their picutre taken. I had some old guy with a bad back who wanted so bad to sit in my car. I had to help him in and almost pry him out, but he was grinning ear to ear. Great photo btw.

From experience, the SRT grabs more attention than my '99 RT-10 or '02 GTS did. I am starting to hate it. Why can't people leave me alone??? I am becoming the a**hole I used to hate before I started driving exotics. I had a guy in a black trans-am pull up to me yesterday and he rode in my blind spot and revved his engine and I finally stopped and said 'what do you want?!?!' He said he just wanted to tell me he liked my car. I feel bad.

Yeah, I got tired of people going crazy over my 98 C5 so I bought the GTS. I mean, when you own a Corvette people just can't believe it's on the road! What a car!

Ya I get that from people in Stratuses all the time, and since the SRT shares a big portion of its timeless design well you know.
