I am thinking whether I should buy the Vipermania hardtop with the duct in it for my 2000 RT10 or just keep my original OEM.

My main concerns are:
Does this hardtop have a nice headliner inside that matches the factory black leather interior ?
Does it bind well to the body of the car or will I be hearing annoying noises?
Would these guys consider trading my OEM hardtop in?

I know that I should may be direct my questions to Vipermania directly but I wanted an independent opinion. So you guys will excuse me for the spam.
If anyone of you has already dealt with them and tried the product I would be greatful for advice.

Thanks

You will be very happy with the Vipermania hardtop.
1) The headliner is solid black
2) If tightened down properly, there should be no rattling or noise. I have to occasionaly retighten the rear bolts to keep it from rattling but it's not a problem.
3) Can't imagine they would be interested in a trade in.

Call Biff directly and he will answer any questions you have. He is a great guy to deal with.

The duct does look great though...

Francisco,

I've never understood he rationale for the hood scoop either. It's non-functional and only serves to capture air, almost acting like a small sail. Aerodynamically, it makes no sense at all.

Aesthetically, I think it's problematic at best.

no but seriously.a scoop on top for "looks?" you have to draw the line somewhere when talking about looks / performance...nonfunctional scoops to me are a useless idea.

Love mine. Nothing but compliments and women. You can make it functional if you want.

Edit: haha, no picture hosting from that site, and for some reason this site either. go to my media section to see a couple of pics.

Biff is a Hell of a guy and makes top notch products. Best I remember he will take a factory top as partial trade. The one that I bought for my Gen I car did not have a head liner, It was painted flat black and was just smooth with no material. It looked very clean and quality was top notch. I like my Gen II headliner better and do not personally like the scoop but to each is own. I like the way Biff's top attaches better than my factory Genn II top and when properly tightened down it will not rattle as much as my factory top. Just my .02
