Could it be that you are pushing the ****** because that is what you sell? I have previsouly owned a passport and thought it was good. However, I know several people who have the V1 and think that it is GREAT. Whatever works the best is what people are after!!!

Valentine 1 has a good refutation page slamming the author of radartest (Craig Peterson). I would go and check it out. It turns out that you can slant the test results pretty easily, either through incompetence, or dishonesty. Check that site out before you quote radartest, or make claims about ******.

I was the older Passport!!

Also, I thought that V1 was only available through V1 (mail oder only). So, when you say " i do also carry the v1" I have to wonder HOW?

Customizerx and Peterson financial relationship speaks for the sales pitch! I will continue to buy V1's! Peterson's slanted view lends his comments worthless to me!
The range issue is likely incorrect as represented by Peterson, the back and side radar warning is considered worthless by Peterson, because the product they hawk lacks that capability. I like to know where to look for the Man when he is near! Go sell the BEL to some less informed sites.

I have had several detectors over the years. I currently own 2 V-1's. I bought the first version when they came out and the newer one for the Viper. I agree with the majority. You can have your ******. Perhaps you didn't know--Mike Valentine was one of the engineers who developed the first Escorts when working for Cincinnati Microwave. IMO , there is no better piece out there
